Our platform connects you directly with thousands of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), artisans, and verified sellers from across the country. Here’s how our store system works to ensure a seamless, transparent, and empowering shopping experience.
1. Multi-Vendor Marketplace
MahabachatGat.in is not a single store—it’s a network of independent sellers under one roof. Each vendor manages their own storefront, product listings, inventory, and shipping.
- You’ll find diverse products from different regions and communities.
- Each product page clearly shows the vendor name, location, and ratings.
- You can browse by category, vendor, or region to support local sellers.
2. Product Listings & Authenticity
Every product listed on MahabachatGat.in is:
- Uploaded and managed by the vendor directly.
- Reviewed for quality, compliance, and cultural authenticity.
- Tagged with badges for SHG certification, eco-friendliness, and ritual significance.
We encourage vendors to provide detailed descriptions, images, and usage instructions to help you make informed choices.
3. Order Placement & Fulfillment
Once you place an order:
- The vendor receives a notification and begins processing.
- You’ll get updates via email/SMS on order status, dispatch, and delivery.
- Orders are shipped via trusted courier partners with tracking enabled.
Delivery timelines may vary based on vendor location and product type. Estimated delivery dates are shown at checkout.
4. Returns & Replacements
We offer a 5-day return/replacement window for eligible products.
If your item is defective, damaged, or not as described:
- Request a return via your My Orders dashboard.
- Ship the item via courier within 5 days of approval.
- Refunds are processed within 14 calendar days of item receipt.

5. Payments & Security
MahabachatGat.in supports secure payments via:
- UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards
- Wallets and COD (where available)
All transactions are encrypted and processed through PCI-compliant gateways. We never store your payment details.
6. Invoices & GST
Every order includes a GST-compliant invoice, generated automatically based on vendor location and product category.
You can download invoices from your account dashboard for tax or reimbursement purposes.
7. Multilingual & Inclusive Experience
Our platform supports multilingual browsing to ensure accessibility across India.
You can switch languages using the dropdown menu at the top of the page.
