Shipping & Delivery Policy
MahaBachatGat is a digital marketplace that enables Self Help Groups (SHGs) and rural producers to sell their products directly to customers across India. Shipping and delivery of products are primarily handled by the respective SHG sellers.
1. Shipping Responsibility
Each registered SHG on MahaBachatGat is responsible for arranging the shipment and delivery of their products. SHGs may choose their own courier or logistics partners based on reliability, service coverage, and product requirements.
2. Delivery Coverage
SHGs may ship products to most locations within India. However, certain destinations may not be serviceable due to courier network limitations, remote locations, or restrictions on specific product categories.
If a delivery location is not serviceable by the seller’s courier partner, the buyer may be requested to provide an alternate address within the serviceable area.
3. Dispatch and Delivery Time
Delivery timelines may vary depending on the product type, seller location, and courier service used.
• Orders are typically dispatched within 2–3 working days after order confirmation.
• Most orders are delivered within 4–7 working days from the date of dispatch.
• Deliveries to remote locations may take longer.
SHGs are encouraged to dispatch orders as quickly as possible to ensure timely delivery.
4. Shipping Method
Shipping methods may vary depending on product characteristics:
• Lightweight items may be shipped through air-enabled courier services.
• Heavy or bulk items may be shipped through surface/ground transportation.
All SHGs are expected to package products securely to ensure safe transit.
5. Delivery Charges
Shipping charges are determined by the individual SHG sellers.
Sellers may choose to offer:
• Free delivery
• Fixed shipping charges
• Shipping charges based on location or product weight
Applicable shipping charges, if any, will be displayed during the checkout process before payment confirmation.
6. Order Tracking
Customers can track their orders through the “My Orders” section in their MahaBachatGat account.
Tracking information may become available within 24–48 hours after dispatch, depending on the courier service used.
Customers may also receive tracking details through email or SMS notifications.
7. Multiple Product Orders
If multiple products from different SHGs are purchased in a single order, each seller may ship their items separately.
As a result:
• Products may arrive in separate packages
• Delivery times may vary for each item
8. Delivery Address
Orders will be delivered only to the shipping address provided during checkout.
If customers wish to deliver products to different addresses, they must place separate orders for each delivery address.
9. Non-Delivery or Delays
While MahaBachatGat facilitates the marketplace platform, the actual shipping and delivery are handled by the SHG sellers and their courier partners.
Therefore:
• MahaBachatGat is not responsible for delays caused by courier services, weather conditions, or unforeseen logistical issues.
• In case of delivery-related concerns, customers may contact the seller or MahaBachatGat support for assistance.
10. Policy Updates
MahaBachatGat reserves the right to modify or update this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
